We believe that companies need to make profits – but that they also need to have a social conscience and give something back to society. The idea that we get to “see where our money goes” was very appealing to us when we selected a charity to do regular donations to. Plan International gives us ability to “sponsor” a child and to give this child a chance in life.

This charity helps kids around the world to get things which are “normal” for us, like clean drinking water, basic vaccinations or being able to go to school and get an education. Our education has been not just free but of such high standards, that it allowed us to pursue our careers and ultimately to start this company.

We have taken on our first sponsorship, for a girl in the Philippines in 2002 and two more sponsorships for 2 boys in India in 2007. Beside the sponsorships, we do an annual donation for Plan International after the end of our business year to support school projects.

Sapna is the Hindi word for “dream” – this company is our dream and we hope that we can help at least a few others to fulfil their dreams!
