Reize application for iPad

Tuesday, December 21st, 2010

This is not an app but a password protected website optimised for the iPad. It’s a price list used by Reize staff. With HTML5 we even managed to set up an offline version so that users can download all pages first and then use the price list via the browser even if the iPad has no internet connection. The advantage to an iPad app is that users do not have to download the app and any updates through the iTunes app store and that we did not have to go into app development but could use our HTML skills which kept the set up costs low.

New Verbatim US website goes live

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

After looking into different options Verbatim US decided earlier this year to move their website to a PHP platform and to use us and the code we have developed for Verbatim Europe as basis for their new website. Orckid, our UK design partner, have changed the template to fit the requirements of Verbatim US and we then set up the new website. This involved changes and enhancements to our exciting code for verbatim-europe.com, programming new modules specific for the US, porting the existing data and working closely with an external SEO company to make sure the website is technically fully optimised for search engines. We are proud that together with Orckid we now look after both the European and US websites for Verbatim and to be truly global!

The new Aufseesianum website goes live

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

This is a joint project with our agency partner Michal & Spielhagen in Bamberg. The Aufseesianum is a boarding school and we have been looking after their website for a couple of years now. After running several Google Adword campaigns we realised that we do get enough visitors to the website – but not enough of them contact Aufseesianum. Joe Spielhagen developed a new concept for the website: new home page with more relevant content, a modern design, mehr photos (which he took himself), less content and a newly structured navigation. We then integrated these changes with the existing website. Now we need to see if we’ll improve the conversion!

If you are from Franconia with its over 300 breweries it is a privilege to do one of their websites (and not only because all the meetings happen over a few beers)! Together with our agency partner Michal & Spielhagen (http://www.michal-spielhagen.de) we set out to create Bamberg’s best brewery website for the Fässla brewery. Have a look if we have succeeded:
